What is Hatha Yoga?
Hatha Yoga is a discipline which focuses on the purification of the physical body leading to the purification of the mind (ha) and prana/vital energy (tha).
With targeted breathing and slow, deep stretches, Hatha Yoga enables the body to detoxify as well as its internal organs. This combined with meditation and visualization allows for deep relaxation and relief from daily stressors.

Yonge & Wellness is devoted to offering small classes to enhance the one on one experience. We limit the class sizes to 5 participants to allow each individual to experience the utmost every week.
Hatha Yoga classes will focus on decreasing stress and aid in muscle flexibility. The more flexible your muscles are the less prone you will be to injury and/or pain.
